Wherever my steps take me, I love to immerse myself in places whose poetry captivates me.
I first capture them through photography, then reveal their energy by working with soft pastels.
The interplay of colors asserts its contrasts, light emerges, and its movement enhances the texture and materiality of the scene.
In my work, the wear of time on human constructions—shipwrecks, abandoned buildings—exposes them to the bone, to the soul.
Thus, humanity appears in its vanity and fragility, while Nature patiently, relentlessly, reclaims what once seemed taken from it.
