Trained by renowned pastel masters, I have developed my pictorial technique in a figurative Impressionist vein.
In my portraits, each skin tone is a challenge, as I seek to capture the essence of my subjects.
It is with a free gesture of strokes, hatching, and flat areas that I prefer to suggest, going straight to the heart of things to create emotion.
In all my subjects—portrait, landscape, or still life—I let myself be guided by the light and my feelings, in order to evoke an atmosphere that invites the viewer to dream.
