I dedicate myself to dry pastels on Pastelcard.
My favourite subjects are “still lifes,” which I compose using everyday objects or more exotic items, along with photographs taken during more or less distant travels.
My pleasure lies in being able to create an atmosphere through indirect lighting, such as backlighting that accentuates shadows and highlights, or by placing light sources within my composition, such as candles or antique lamps.
I also enjoy painting fabrics and textiles in vibrant colours, made from various materials.
Pastels of all brands are used, depending on the effect I wish to achieve and the colour nuances required for the work.
