Hasan Saygin

Hasan SAYGIN was born in 1958 in Turkey.
In 1977, he entered the Istanbul School of Fine Arts. In 1982, he decided to move to Paris, where he settled permanently.
He has held numerous solo exhibitions in various Parisian galleries, as well as in Belgium, Spain, Italy, Moldova, Albania, the United States, and Turkey.
He has participated in many group exhibitions and has received numerous awards and medals.
He draws inspiration from Renaissance painters, nudes, and still lifes. At first glance, his paintings are highly realistic, as he seeks “perfection” in the depiction of his model or subjects.
However, there are also abstract elements that integrate his realism with modernity. After years of working with oil, he began drawing with pastel.
