I work primarily in watercolor and dry pastel. My practice is grounded in a balance between structure and spontaneity, between control and the internal dynamics of the image. With an initial background in physics, I am interested in the interaction of light and the surrounding world, and I explore optical mixing and glazing as ways to create depth and atmosphere.
My focus is on the subtle states of nature, often imperceptible at first glance. Through my work, I aim to create a visual illusion that invites the viewer to slow down and perceive the everyday in a new way.
