Nature has always captivated me. I feel an intense emotion when I contemplate it and a profound sense of well-being when I’m in its presence. From the day I discovered soft pastels, I was captivated by the pleasure of manipulating this highly tactile medium and by the powdery, luminous effect of its incredibly rich hues. I wanted to try to capture the colors and light of the landscapes I encounter around my home, or elsewhere during my walks.
