I have always been drawn to drawing and painting since my youth; however, being very busy with my career and family life, I was only able to fully dedicate myself to painting around the age of 45, when I took acrylic painting classes with the internationally renowned artist LOGAN, a master of hyperrealism and *trompe-l’œil*.

In 2005, while passing near Limoges, I discovered the art of pastels in Feytiat during a visit to the International Pastel Exhibition, where Nathalie Picoulet was the guest of honor.
In 2014, I experienced a true revelation during a pastel workshop led by the renowned portrait artist Gisèle Hurtaud.
Subsequently, I immersed myself in this art form by painting portraits of children—both those of acquaintances and people I met—and since 2022, I have ventured into painting portraits of felines.

Above all, I seek to capture emotion through a subject’s gaze or posture..
