Carlier Cécile

After becoming Fine Art graduate at the Valenciennes School of Fine Arts, I developed a strong passion for painting and drawing at a very young age. Pastel quickly became my preferred medium, captivated by the material and the infinite richness of its colors. My first subjects were still lifes, seascapes, and animal paintings.

Today, I focus my work on portraiture. Passionate about the human mood, I seek, through my artwork, to capture a look, a smile, the depth of an emotion. My goal is to reveal something more intimate, more vibrant.

Each portrait becomes an invitation to enter a story where the viewer is free to make their own and extend through their imagination.
