I paint what captivates me. Nature is an endless source of inspiration, and for a long time, I have felt a subtle connection with birds. It is important for me to convey the affection I feel for them, and I seek to express what they seem to be telling me. I am not an ornithologist and do not aim for precision—only for an emotional exchange.

My pastels are treasures of color that allow me to capture—directly and without filters, on a variety of surfaces—the images and emotions I encounter during walks, travels, or in my everyday life.

I build my pastel compositions to draw the eye beyond reality, to take the time to dream and listen to Nature, which has so much to teach us.
