My painting speaks of light, atmosphere, mood, and contrast.
I don’t follow a strict artistic path — it’s the interest I feel in the subject at hand that guides me: the suggestion of a fading mist, the setting sun piercing through foliage, a flower-dotted embankment…
The objects I choose to stage, marked by the passage of time and where texture takes center stage, tell me other stories — the rust of a boat anchor, a set of keys, the cracks in leather, flaking paint…
