Painting is a way for me to express who I am — a form of liberation.
Nature offers us life and immense beauty, if we take the time to truly observe it.
After 13 years of working with pastels, and many years of life drawing before that, I continue to explore how to express my own vision of nature.
I seek to move away from realism, and instead convey an impression of what I feel.
It will be a long journey — but what a joy it is to devote myself to this pursuit.
My aim is to move someone, to have them feel what I felt — and that, for me, is the ultimate joy and fulfilment.
